The Barackus is a frigate of the reconnaissance troops. Under Captain Tamara Sutherland it is one of the better-known ships. Its modern camouflage systems make it invisible to most sensors and systems, even if it has no visual cloaking function. It is a gray ship with black accents that is barely visible to the naked eye.
Carter Sanders first served on the Barackus after his basic training and completed his first two missions with its crew.
