The Kachan-System is a rather avoided area for most species because it is the home of the Lorgans and Gumai. Apart from Ju, they have built plants for different purposes on all worlds. There is a high military presence and there is no tolerance for uninvited visitors.
Since the planets of the system are all quite close to the star Kachan, the basic temperature there is everywhere somewhat higher than on comparable worlds. There is relatively little trade there, since the Gumai can cover most needs themselves and the Lorgans hardly need foreign goods.
