The term katsu means “ancestor animal” in the language of the T’zun. They are larger, more colorful, and more dangerous than on Earth. In addition, there are more variants. The cat people worship them as ancestors, domesticate some of them, or find other forms of cooperation. The famous black panther katsu are strictly speaking only leopard katsu with pigment disorder, but in many places, they are regarded as particularly noble. In this respect, they are very similar to the white tiger katsu.

Due to their similar physiology, T’zun have a natural connection to all predatory cats and can, therefore, communicate with them and keep them as allies.
