For a long time, neysanics was the only protective measure against energy projectiles until a Gumai researcher named Mundo Waku found a way to harness the energy of the incoming projectile. Instead of diverting or storing the energy released by the projectile, it is fed into the shield generator, further strengthening the shield. As with neysanics, however, this has the disadvantage that at some point, there is an overheating that shuts down the shield for up to 30 seconds.

Waku negation shields are not only expensive but also rare. Only a few wealthy individuals and special forces have this advantage. Especially for spaceships, this technology is usually too expensive, but there are a few exceptions.
